The Preston-Snoqualmie Trail deadends at a scenic overlook of Snoqualmie Falls. If you walk past this gate there is a trail that goes to the old railroad trestle. A serious canyon at that point the trestle still seems in good shape, but I've heard of no plans to complete the trail to Snoqualmie. It would really be a great connection if they would.
